Just have each of them donate their sperm then genetically combine them and out comes instant championships :)

the closest thing to a mike james and rafer alston combo would probably be Deron Williams

Once again, Deron Williams without the speed, quickness, vision, or basketball playing ability.

You forget D-Will is much bigger compared to the two. D-Will also has a better mid-range pull up then both.

    Rafer has some vision.
James has some quickness and scoring.

DWill has THE vison, THE quickness, and THE scoring.

    This thread reminds me...

What do people think of that Yao and Mutumbo lineup last night? Who would dare take it to the paint against those two?

that yao mutombo lineup excited me spectacularly. I love deke in limited minutes, because he just works hiss ass off and gives you 6 or 7 minutes of vintage mutombo. and yeah, nobody wanted to come in the lane. nobody.

Yep, but not in a good way. Francis takes all the bad aspects of Rafer and James and rolls it into one ugly package. Ballhog and overdribbles, looking for his own shot all the time, and suspect decision making? Check. Poor shooter? Check.

The only thing he has is better finishing ability but even that is not that good nowadays.

what do you mean by championship point guard?

He's not, and had we not had Sam Cassell we would have never won those two championships.

I'm down with Adelman's sense of when to substitute the two PG's at the right time in the games or his timing of when to drop some SF in the mix....Adelman's smart and will mix his pieces well. Dude's sharp....

you would have a pg who doesn't turn the ball over, gets the team in the offense early, knows what plays to call, has the ability to get others involved and score himself.

you would also have a player who doesn't know when to shoot or pass and takes too many risks on defense.

I think they're doing fine, every night one of them steps up, or sometimes in the same game, just at different times. What we need is consistency from everyone, especially our stars.

On another note, I really don't feel like Luther is fitting in. He's just a spot up shooter, and his ball handling skills are horrid. I would much rather at least give Stevie a shot once in a while. Or draw up plays for Head to hit his random yet clutch 3's. Either way, he's very one dimensional, and we need everyone to be be step it up in all aspects.
