After the last game, T-mac said he had a big blister on his foot. This is a common begining of the season thing for a lot of basketbal players because of new shoes and a lot more running and cutting then in the off season.

The only way to treat it is to stay off it while it's still oozy and bloody...In a couple days it'll turn into a callous and he'll be fine.

Shoulda worn 2 pairs of socks those first couple days.

Ugh, that made me squirm a little bit!

If the injury isn't serious, then let's move on. I doubt he'd make up some excuse to miss practice, that doesn't seem like something he'd do. All players are bound to encounter some discomfort during the course of the season, at least he's got it out of the way! Haha

I'm sure he has it taken care of by now...but I fully expect Yao to dominate this game cuz of the Yao vs Yi hype

So that is really why he sucked against San Antonio.

Hope he's ok and looks like he is. He'll probably play,

That's right. Two pairs of socks would have heleped prevent it.

Those suckers occur when the foot is sliding around in the shoe or when the skin becomes loose and turns to a bubble. When that bad boy peels off, it's like having open flesh.

It will heal in a couple of days though.

i wouldn't blame it on that. he drove by bowen w/ ease in the first but just couldn't finish and get calls. yao got rolling so we went exclusively mostly to yao so tmac wasn't as aggressive.

i think he got less aggressive b/c he didn't get any calls and yao was going to why bother?

I don't think you know Tracy, do you?

He is notorious around the Rockets organization for missing all kinds of team functions and practices for a bunch of "injuries" or "personal matters".

he has missed practices b4 for minor injuries. but i do not think he has missed team functions unless it's a "personal matter" (death in a family most recently) and he missed the media day. that's completely understandable.
