Rocketman, exactly why is it bs ? becuz the gurus are always wrong ? or becuz its simply UT ? ------------------ "Don't they get cable in Canada ?" Keith olbermann, after watching hakeem block terry catledge's shot 5 times.
Why doesn't Texas slide out into the Gulf? Because Oklahoma sucks! Putting all things aside though, I just dont see how you can take anything away from UT. We are top team. To be honest I dont anything about the recruits that the Sooners have, but people who know about high school basketball have said that UT has signed some really good talent. Add those players to a 13th ranked team next year (if Mihm stays) and we'll see what happens.
geez guys i started this thread to discuss the draft next year not as a defend ur school bash others thread. stop it and talk about the ROCKETS draft next year , start ur own thread for colleges cause this isnt what my thread was for ------------------ --TEX
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Way way off topic. PS: University of Texas, Class of 1997. I don't like hearing "UT Sucks". Watch it.
These Sooner guys are carrying way to much hatred, envy, jealousy, or whatever it is. As for discounting national scouts and media, yeah it so much more reasonable to take the opinion of local writers and the sports PR guy of the local universities. As for any of the current Sooners and Longhorns, Mihm looks the best pro prospect. Najera’s outside game makes him a better prospect than Mounoke (sp.), but he probably is a little to slow of foot to excel at the next level. As for comparing Mihm to Lafrenz (sp.), it doesn’t make much sense to me. Lafrenz really isn’t a true center and has more of a mid-range game. Mihm has much better shot blocking potential. Mihn does appear to have pretty good hands and feet for a guy his size as well (much better than Perdue or Montross, if you want make comparisons), he will definitely be a decent prospect. Certainly better than that those two guys I just mentioned and that Washington Univ. stiff who has played al right in his rookie year and obviously should have been drafted earlier.
