holy crap those are the worst rankings ever. i think it is very likely that he let his child randomly pick the order. i love how the 1-2 hawks are #8.
So lets see the 5th best team last year + vastly improved roster + showing that the roster changes were not hype in preseason and first games of reg season = 6th best team.
Wow...those power rankings were crap all around. I can understand the Spurs being 1 and even seeing them buy the hype of the C's...but everything else is crap. Amazing, I wish they'd let me write up power rankings.
not that power rankings matter at all but the guy who wrote that is just flat out r****ded. we beat the lakers.
The SERIOUS f**k up on this ranking is that they have the Spurs at #1, stating that they still have Yao & T-Mac coming up, but they have Boston @ #2, saying they have lived up to the hype so far. Uhhhh, the Celtics played their SECOND game last night, and finished roughly 1 HOUR BEFORE we soundly beat the Spurs off a back to back. So this dumb-ass writer either is saying that Boston deserves a #2 ranking after ONE game, or he chose to keep the Rox and Spurs where they are this week to see if he can still be petty towards Yao and the Rox. It CERTAINLY looks like the latter. Some people just don't like Yao. Period.
Terrible rankings!!! I think whoever made those didn't take into consideration the quality of opponents each teams faced....
