Ok. at the half, 77:38 Boson.

I am convinced that Celtics will be our opponent in the finals. :D

That is ridiculous. Celtics are looking so good. Garnett is just an unbelievable player. When is the rocket playing them?

I admit I was skeptical (still am, somewhat, but we will see when the 'euphoria' wears off a bit), but this team is damn good and can probably EASILY dominate the East. It will be interesting to see who can slow them down a bit. Most teams in the East are either "over the hill" (Miami, possibly Detroit), "up and coming" (Bulls, Magic, may be NYK) or downright mediocre (most of the rest). Really, unless the Bulls can get Kobe and keep most of their core intact, there is no team out East that I could argue would do much to slow down the Celtics. So the Celts should have an easy road to the finals this year. At least we know this season the NBA Finals will be something to watch (Spurs vs. Celts, Rockets vs. Celts, or Suns vs. Celts...they're all great matchups).

Now if only Kobe would move East, then we can finally have a couple of true "powerhouses" in the East that can compete with the best in the West, especially with Detroit and Miami heading south.

If Allen Iverson played for the Harlem Globetrotters, he would proclaim them "the next NBA champs"...that along with his general bias for anything relating to the Knicks/Sixers or "The Diesel"...he has his guys/teams that he will always pimp.

Celtics are going to the finals, and KG will be a STRONG contender for MVP.

The big thing is that it looks like the C's are having fun. Enjoying the game, and allowing it to come to them. Id like to see the rockets take a page out of their book and start having fun.

On that note. I think the C's would present a horrible matchup problem for the Rockets. I think Garnett is too much on both sides of the floor for Yao, and Pierce and TMac COULD negate each other. Leaving Allen to destroy whomever. Our PG play is not enough to overcome Rondo and co. Leaving us the bench.

I cant wait to see the Rox play the C's. Should be fun to watch.

Yao obviously can't guard KG on the perimeter, but I think KG would have trouble guarding Yao because he is not that strong and Yao is very strong. Banging with Yao all game would wear KG down. Previously when we played the Timberwolves their coach would always put some stiff center (Nesterovic, Mark Blount, Olowokandi) on Yao instead of putting KG on him, only putting KG on him in stretches. I think Rivers will do the same and play Kendrick Perkins and thus Yao won't have to guard KG. That means Chuck Hayes will, and I suppose he'd do the best job out of anyone on the team.

I would put Battier on Pierce because Pierce is strong and plays physical, and put McGrady on Ray Allen. I heard Rondo looks very bad right now as PG, and he can't hit a jumper anyway so I don't think we have to worry about him.
