I live in San Antonio, and they showed it on their crappy local affiliate. I was blacked out of the LP feed for both standard and HD.

I'll post this for what it's worth. I have an HD DirecTV dvr upstairs. In one downstairs location, I have a standard dvr hooked up to an LCD screen. Downstairs, I come out of the dvr into a dvd recorder that has an upconverting HDMI output. Without getting into the technical arguments about upconverting/upscaling, to me, the picture looks improved. The signal out of the dvr is standard def into the dvd recorder (in through S-video) and out through HDMI to the TV. The dvd recorder is a Panny DMR 25S. It is last years model. If anyone is interested in doing this, Circuitcity.com is selling it for $99 bucks plus tax. I think I paid $169 a year ago. I just ordered another one to put upstairs. Again, the picture is certainly not nearly as nice as the HD upstairs, but is an improvement over standard def straight from the dvr to the LCD. If you do buy one and happen to get a bad one, please don't blame me. I have not had any problems with mine using Verbatim 16x -R discs.
