I saw some mention of a blister, but that can't explain why simply wasn't involved at all during crunch time. At the very least he coulda been used as a decoy. He wasn't even making the entry pass to Yao. Was there something else going on?

I don't think so. I'd say just a night off or he just wanted to pass the ball. Maybe he didn't fel his best but no injury.

You saw he made to the basket Bowen every time he was one on on. They just didn't call fouls.

Just a night off and great defense on him.

probably Bowen's defense and an off night

didn't seem hurt to me when he made that 3 right in Bowen's face

San Antonio was really keying on him and forcing him to swing the ball to the weak side. So Adelman decided to run things through Yao, since the Spurs weren't doubling him aggressively.

    He was hurt.

    His feelings were hurt.

    :D

LOL - come on people he had an off night....and he smartly deferred to Yao.

I think it was really as simple as TMac cold and Yao Ming hot

Now if TMac would have played a decoy role or even worse, entry pass to Yao, this would have only brought the D to Yao's side of the court. Even MJ was not directly in front of Yao entry passing it to him. He was sliding over after the entry pass was made and the passer got the heck out of Dodge.

TMac doing this would have been more difficult for Yao to do anything in terms of a look at the hoop or a decent pass.

    TMac is fine.

It's in the ESPN article on the game.

ESPN reported that T-Mac had a "huge" blister on the bottom of his foot.

Tracy McGrady struggled with his shooting, too, going 4-of-14 and scoring only 12. McGrady had nine rebounds and dished out six of the Rockets' season-high 25 assists. McGrady was treating a huge blister on the bottom of his right foot after the game.

Nothing serious but he still pulled defensive attention and dished out 6 dimes.

It could hurt him, I mean he could feel it and he probably felt it. It's hard to play with somethin' like this but he has to treat it now. We need several days for rest so he'll be fine

Yeah I thought he looked like he was limping at times.

LMFAO. That's the Francis Haters for you. They're hating so much that it clouds their daily thinking. Thus causing them to bash Francis at any time or place, regardless of what is being talked about. I think its called Plantar Francisitis.
