One of those teams that still hasn't lost yet. Up 6 against Lakers currently 3-0.

Does anyone think they can keep this up? I really wouldn't like them to because they are in our division and all... But what do you guys think?

are they going to be the Jazz of last year?

Sneaky team. You say "Oh its just the Hornets, they have a spectacular PG, and the rest of the team is just avg." But the funny thing is, their coach was in the ECF a few yrs ago with NJ Nets. They have a HELL of a PF in David West. A shooter in Peja, a 6th man in Bobby Jackson. A very well rounded team. Give them the light of day and they will beat you, take the Rockets for example last yr. They had our # all yr.

You need to mention Tyson Chandler before you mention David West and Peja.

If Peja plays the whole year they can have a decent season. I still think he's the most wimpy of all the top talents in the league. I also don't think Byron Scott is a good coach. The good start is fine but it's a long season.

I wonder how long the w**** Nets will stay healthy. Injuries killed that team last season. If they stay healthy, I like their chances for being in the playoffs.

The only reason they were a lottery team last year was injuries. It's not hard to see them as a 7th seed.

It is a long season, anything could happen.

They are going to be tough, especially for the Rockets, Chris Paul will destroy our PGs.

He's up to 20 assists now. His size will always make him underrated, but he's as pure of a playmaker as there is in the league.

21 assists right now and Peja with 10 3pters made....and 36 points overall.

    WOW !

I think the lakers are defending him wrong...I would make him be a scorer..and guard everyone else...same with Nash...force the rest of the team to lose interest.....

Who cares if he scores 40, you still win the game.

He is not a top talent. He is a very good shooter but has difficulty creating his own shot under pressure and against good defenders. Big reason is because of his poor dribbling skills. It was also the main reason that Rick Fox used to shut him down or else Kings would have won couple rings by now.

He is a wimp for sure. That I agree with.

This Hornets team is good. Our division is by far the best in the league.

    21 assists for Mr. Paul.

    Trade for Chandler... Genius.
    Drafting David West... Genius.
Take risks on Bobby Jackson and Peja... Love it.
Trade Baron Davis? Didn't like it. But fair enough.
    Peterson signing? Steal.
    Julian Wright? Love it.
Signing Ryan Bowen? Order the rings

They were my preseason playoff sleeper team. They're going to be tough. Granted, I guess they started out last season the same way but if they can stay healthy and if Peja has a resurgence year then they will definitely challenge for a playoff spot.

They are damn good. If Peja stays healthy, they are a lock for 50+ wins.
