I never really had any dislike or hate towards the Spurs before this game. After watching Bruce Bowen and Tim Duncan whine their ways to get 2 calls overturned, especially when one of them blatantly shouldnt have been overturned. I just lost all respect for them right there.

Now here is where the hate starts to come in. I always hated Ginobli and his flopping ways, but that flop that he did on Bonzi was the most ridiculous thing ever. Bonzi raised his hands and Ginobli started wailing around and flopped to the floor like he just got shot by a shotgun or something. How more people dont hate this team is beyond me.

    P.S. Death to Dallas

I used to like Duncan b/c he was so fundamentally sound, but he whines more than any player in the NBA (just ask Joey Crawford) and it made me hate him

Always hated the Spurs. All started with that SOB Vinny Del Negro

Hell i used to despise joey crawford almost as much as Cuban but he has gained part of my respect back for him. At least he tried to get Duncan to stfu.

They're far and away the dirtiest team of this era. They have this 'boyscout' image, but to me, they're more Eddie Haskle than anything else. Want more proof? Check out their coach. He could play a loan shark on the Sopranos.

No, they're not. They do play dirty, but that title belongs to the Utah Jazz, and it isn't even close.

I respectfully disagree with this whole thread!

The spurs are not that dirty. They are among the few elites who have class and don't hack you all the time.

If we should b**** about a dirty team it should be the Jazz b4 anyone else. Those assholes have too many unwated hacks and elbows and pushes all the time. I hate them to my guts.

Hell, I was more pissed at the mavs last night than the spurs.

No Way, except for the Malone/Stockton Jazz the current Spurs team are the best floppers. They do play dirty to, they just do it more descretly then others, this team plays down and dirty with the best of them.

Well, in that manner, we won the champion....
and there is really some difference between being dirty and tricky....or smart ,as I consider it ....

The Jazz may be more physical, but they don't get nearly as many calls from the refs as the Mavs and Spurs. They usually lead the league in fouls. I can respect that.

But the darn Spurs, and their similarly coached but even more douchebag-y Mavs, they play dirty and get all the calls. It sucks! I swear, the Rockets play amazing defense given the fact that we get no respect from the refs.

"Unfortunately, Manu Ginobli's playing career was ended today when his knee tragically collided with Shane Battier's balls of steel."

I hereby sentence Bruce Bowen to a lifetime of repeatedly getting kicked in the balls by Dikembe Mutombo. Parole not an option.

    God I hate that guy.

Seriously, this has got to be the whiniest team in the history of the league. Duncan has not committed a foul or a turnover since the day he came into the league, i have never seen anyone whine as much as i did tonight. Don't know if you guys caught this on the tv broadcast, doubt it though since they were probably showing chuckie but after he elbowed chuck in the head and chuck was being led off bleeding, duncan put on this huge production for the ref's benefit of rubbing his elbow and wincing and acting like he was the one who was hurt and arguing endlessly while nursing his hurt elbow about how he could have possibly been whistled for an offensive foul. Rest assured, i heckled the **** out of him and even earned a dirty look from the spurs bench.

Lets put it this way, if rockets fail to make it deep in the playoffs and dallas and spurs play, i would root for the spurs. So much more reasons to hate dallas than the spurs.
