Well this thread has blown up - rather unexpectedly, I would add.

 

Any TV network in the United States copying a Latin American country's novela usually bombs. It's nice to see that UGLY BETTY is making waves with the audience here. It's not the same, anyway... it's just Salma Hayek's copycat way of making money. The passion is not there, so to speak.
