I don't agree with you. I think Aldelman gave Tmac too much freedom to shoot anyway he wants and turned Tmac to Kobe in this game. YAO wants to touch the ball but remember he is a center and he needs his mates to feed the ball, which obviously is not done well...

true, Yao got his points. But I dont think he had much impact on the game. If Yao becomes a glorified role player, this team will go nowhere.

I'll agree that Yao is unselfish, but T-Mac no longer can be said of that. Look at what he's done thus far. He's trying to be a Kobe and jacking up 35 shots a game. Is that unselfish?

We can't do that, otherwise the T-Mac only fans will be howling in pain and frustration.

I feel like a part of macs frustration from the conclusion of last years playoffs coupled with his excitement about this years prospects might be whats pushing him to be this aggressive with his shot.

He's feeling a lot more comfortable this year so I'm not shocked that he's feeling it all out before he settles down. More or less you know how Yao's shots will come. He'll be there when we need him.

Why do you insist on branding others, giving names like "T-Mac only fans"?

Well, I can also call you a Yao-only-fan, which you seem to be and publicly acknowledge with your moniker.

It is people like you who are the cancers of a forum, creating divisions among fans by name-calling and branding. Supporting an individual player (because of a narrow nationalistic sentiment) instead of the team, playing blame games on any convenient target without thinking as long as your player is not performing.

It is really painful for me to see people like you post on this forum.

So, Yao-fan-2007, I gather from your posts that you have, after 4 games into the season and a 3-1 record, become very dissatisfied with both T-mac and RA.

Very good. Sometimes I wish Yao gets traded to a trash team like the Wolves simply so that fake fans like you can be satisfied with Yao finally becomeing #1 and getting 50 shots a game, and we, the rest of the true fans here can be left in peace.

    Amen

Get a life. Why dont' you reveal your real Screen Name? Obviously you are a previous T-Mac only fan poster who got banned or needed to create another Moniker.

T-Mac should pass more balls to Yao since he always has off night with bad shoting percentage and trade the bunch of average PG to a IQ PG. Otherwise, Rocket cannot win in playoff again!! The same old story!!

    hehe, so you think.

More proof that you like to brand people and create divisions.

I'm not a T-Mac only fan or whatever only fan. My favorite player is Steve Nash, dude, and I watch as many Sun's game and Knicks game as Rockets game. that's why I'm saying that you are blending things through the prism of homerism and sees everybody who does not agree with your views as foes from another whatever-only fan faction.

    Pathetic.

Yao played a really good yesterday but you have to admin that he was double-teamed every time in the 1st half. So he just didn't have another option - only pass the ball.

But in the 2nd half they left him one on one. He was realy great. He scored easy points every time they didn't double him.

Without Yao's dominance and consistent contribution, no matter how awesome T-Mac is, this team is not any better than the old Orlando Magic team or LA Lakers.

You're pathetic for creating another ALIAS and then lying and denying.

You've obviously been here for a very long time, and obivously a previous T-Mac only fan who's been banned, or felt he needed to create a new Screen Name.

    Pathetic.

Adelman is still exploring his options having Yao in high post. The reason we lose is really not Yao not taking enough shots but rather Rox respond poorly when opponents increase their defense in the last several minutes of the game. We blew 12 points against lakers and we were still leading toward the end of this game (88:86) but then we were lost. And then we lost.

Man, it's so full of negativity, it's unbearable and depressing. Better not read GARM after losses.

I agree he should have gotten the ball more, but there were times he had decent position where he normally turns and shoots the jumper. But for whatever reason last night, he just didnt seem to do it. I dont know if he feels he has to run the offense more with this new role and dish it, but 12 shots, especially when you hit 9 of them are not enough.

Honestly, I wish Adelman would do what JVG did last year. Get Yao the ball very often early on and let him go to work. Give him 5 or 6 possessions to try to create something and if he is on great, then move him to the high post some.

Every game last year it seemed Yao got his big touches early in the first and third quarter, and usually he was productive.

Tmac was fine last night. He picked up 8 assists. Yes he took some bad shots but you learn to live with that with him. Its not about him passing more to Yao, its about Yao taking the shot ANYTIME he has a decent chance to score. Tmac will get his shots regardless. Yao needs to take advantage of every opportunity he has to score.

Look at positive side, Yao's high post skills are improving!

Yao easily got 20+ pts and 10+ rbs. His career will be extended. It seems at least Yao can play 10 more years. In general, for a player, the longer his career is, the bigger chance he win a ring. :)
