Let's change this thread's title to......

    Waive Buzz1701 already !! :D

    His logic is weird.

SF3 could have gained a few more pounds.

He could be a few steps slower.

He could be finding difficulties like other Rockets in getting adapted to this read-and-react motion offense systems of Adelman.

But he is Steve Francis, Big Yao's Lao Da.

And you never under-estimate and write him off so easily......

Never ever under-estimate the heart of the champion !!

Just like Mike James told the Chinese reporters, the Rockets had so many good players now, and keeps winning, and Steve Francis is not yet ready to play, but he will be the secret weapon of the Rockets further down the road.

And when he sheds a few pounds off and rediscovers his competitive shape and form, Rick Adelman will play him, cos Rick Adelman is a players' coach and he dares not stir the wrath of the Rockets' fans.

Steve Francis may not be Franchise anymore, he is still Yao Ming's Lao Da, and Houston's favorite son !!

    IBTL !!!

I agree with most of what you said, but Steve is not Houston's favorite son. You have to actually be born here or have lived in Houston the majority of your life to be considered a favorite son.

IMHO, Roger Clemens, Vince Young, Clyde Drexler, and maybe Hakeem Olajuwon are Houston's favorite sons.

Well, then what all those We Want Steve chants from the full Toyota Centre were all about, if Steve Francis is not popular and considered Houston's favorite son ?

The guy is only 30 years old. Got drafted in 1999 to Houston when he was 22 (?). Spent 5 seasons with the Rockets, drifted away in Orlando and New York for 4 years.....but he has a house and family in Houston, and he spent his summers in Houston during those 4 years when he was involuntarily sold to Orlando and New York.

His heart is always with Houston, and he considered himself a Houstonian.

IMHO, he is Houston's favorite son. :D

It was looking like a blowout. Fans sometimes shout out for promising end of bench or out of rotation players in those situations.

    Pryuen,
Don't worry about that dude. He's not even a real Rockets fan. He dislikes the members of the championship team.
Steve is a houston favorite. He lives there.
