Again, you might need to watch the replay. Yao can't be the finisher without the ball. For example, when Tmac sit on the bench in 1st half for 5 minutes, Yao got the ball in the low post only twice. When Tmac sits on the bench, how could Yao only touch the ball twice down low? Something must be wrong with the tame right? Nobody can make an impact with that kind of touches, not even Jordan.

So don't blame this one on Yao. He already scored at a high percentage and created good oppotunities for his teammates. There is nothing more you can ask about him on offensive end.

Hi girl, there are a few things that you need to learn:

    (1) learn how to play basketball.

    (2) learn how to watch basketball.

    (3) learn how to write in better English.

I will add on the list.

First he needs to get Yao more involved. Yao's shot attempts per minute is well below Tmac, James and Wells in this game.

Agreed! All I am saying if Yao stays as a role player and not as a developing Franchise Player then the team will suffer. Our team needs Yao to be the best he can be, just as we need Tracy and everyone else to be the best that they can be. So far this season I see Yao as a facilitator and occasional scorer. In my book, Playmaker Point Guards should be the facilitator and occasional Scorer not a 7'6" giant with skills.
Winning the MVP is very much a secondary thing, playing the game to the best of ones ability and winning, is the primary focus here.
This team will go the way of the Yao! If Yao is out of sinc then the team will not flourish like we are all expecting and hoping for. :p

Looks like a finger points to TMAC to me. 31 shots definitely not a typical behavior in Adelman's system while he's at the Kings.

I think YAO tmac have much more right to shoot than Yao,everyone can see that YAO is a role player in tonights game, maybe this is coach RA's new system

RA wants Yao to he the Point-Center and shoots from outside. What a joke!

I thought RA was better than this. Supposedly he knew how to get the best out of every player - nice going, RA!

In RA's system, Yao is not the primary scorer. Your statement is really irrational.
Oh, nevermind, I shouldn't reply to your post, everybody in this board know you're a Yao hater.
But remember, TMac's experience in Magics prove that he can not carry Rockets to pass the 1st round of playoff, we need Yao+Tmac.

My thoughts exactly. I never wanted Adelman hired and now all my fears have been confirmed.

rofflesauru's reluctance to post after Yao had good games shows how uncertain he is with his abilities to spread his hate. If he was sure he could convincingly b**** about Yao's game anytime then he needs to be a man and stop hiding in his closet after Yao's good games.

    Sounds like you know.
Ask Coach A the same question you might get a better answer.
All I know is last season Yao shoots over Dteam or Tteam and Mavs got owned.

well he did split the double and go for the dunk. i think a coach can't tell a player to make what passes/plays when they're in the game (u just draw up a play and hope they execute it). he drew up a play for yao. if yao wants to shoot or split the double, he could. but he made the right play by passing (which is the right play every time b/c u get an open shot from the double).

but yao did take it to the double once w/ that ferocious dunk.

he got plenty of touches (if ya'll watch the game). he just didn't shoot much b/c of the double teams. either yao is going to start shooting over double teams if they do come or he's going to pass. it's his choice.

the play is pass the ball to yao. it's up to yao to do what he wants with it.

like a play is for the tmac pick and roll. if he gets trapped, he can pass or drive around it or shoot over it. it's his choice seeing what the best play is.

21/11 when took only 12 shots and spent more than 50% of the time in High post is a decent stats line.
Of course he didnt dominate this game, how do you expect a CENTER to be dominant while he spent more than half of the possession in the High post?

we all dont konw how will our team will become in the future but we can see some problems from tonights game.
We should make use of all players advantage to win a game, like tonight,Yao has a high FGP,we shoul let him shoot more.Maybe next game tmac will get 40 points more, then we should concerate on him to offense,
    Thats what a team like!

I'm not sure Adelman didn't tell him to wait for the double and to kick it out if he gets double teamed. It's entirely possible Adelman did so. But I do know when the double didn't come Yao backed in on Diop and scored every time.
