how to watch rockets games in san marcos/austin,tx area?

    i live in san marcos and want to watch the rockets game on nba leage pass tonight. anyone know any sports bars showing it?

    I go to the Tavern on 12th and Lamar. I'm thinking about going tonight if nba league pass isn't doing a free preview. Does anybody know?

    you go to school at texas state by any chance? i do and live in the austin area. not too fond of that town.

    in austin you have:

    the tavern
    champions
    third base

    those are the most popular to my knowledge. like withmustard said, the tavern is a prime spot.

    yup i'm at texas state. and yes draft choice still exisits, no sports though, just cheap drinks and it's pretty trashy in there.

    i just got sopcast and how do i find fsn houston? i tried sop://broker.sopcast.com:3912/35027 and it says the channel is offline now.

    now that you mention it, i cant think of any outright sports bars in san marcos... most of the metros that go there would rather go dancing/clubbing.

    tap room may be showing it.... it's the best bar in town anyways. nevermind that they cut me off at 4pm during homecoming :eek:

    but that's what the tavern is for!
