...at least marginally good, anyway. Hey, after waking up from a 1-5 stretch to discover my team still sucks, only to watch them lose another cornerstone key player to a season-ending injury, I need some semblance of a silver lining. Even if it's dingy. I heard on the radio (and haven't confirmed) that the Texans are 9th in the NFL in sacks allowed, and 13th in the NFL in wins. Sweet! Those numbers are like a little above mediocre. On a mediocre-to-sub-mediocre team, that's something to celebrate. Now, somebody quickly confirm that the numbers are inaccurate and burst my bubble, so I can go back to being miserable. At least the Rox look good!
here is another stat.... backs are only gaining 2. 5 yards a carry, when running towards mario and okoye, ranks 2nd.
Reminds me of this, back when everyone was still having fun piling on the Irish: http://menofthescarletandgray.com/2007/09/24/irish-lose-bye-week/
LOL...13th in the NFL in wins. It's good to see they're keeping that high standard of excellence going...
Who said excellent? I said, "like a little above mediocre." It ain't much, but it's than "we suck donkey balls," which although technically we still do, at least there are more teams with fewer wins than teams with more wins.
