We should definitely play our strong point-Yao in the low post in the game and try to establish a lead early. Harward is a good defender and I don't expect Tmac will play as strong as last few games. Remember the big win last year against them? Yao could easily tear off their defense.

Yao will build on his stellar performance saturday night against Portland by hitting 12/19 from the field and hit a bunch at the line to finish with a game high 32 pts and 10 rebs. I agree with what most of you said, feed the ball inside to Yao at the low block. Let him own Diop/Dampier or whoever is marking him. Yao and Nowitzki will get their numbers, T-mac will get double everytime he touches the ball. So its up to the bench and the supporting cast to win it for them. I predict a solid performance from Scola, MJ, Shane, Bonzi and rafer. Final score, Rockets 102-99 Mavs.

I think we can win, but I wouldn't put money down on it or guarantee a win.

I think if Yao is established early and often in the low post, Avery cannot bring his trapping defense on McGrady. When McGrady is 1v1 against Josh Howard or Trenton Hassell, he should own them. This give us the best chance to win.

idk, vs howard, tracy usually owns him. but hassell has the length to slow him down at times. but that's under JVG. let's see how he fares v. hassell this time.

but we should establish yao first since tmac will get doubled most likely. then when yao dominates, it'll open up the floor.

I reckon we have a good chance of winning this game. Rafer Alston, for all the crap he gets on this board, did an excellent defensive job on Jason Terry last season if I recall correctly. And Yao's usually had good games against the Dallas frontline.

But it all comes down to Dirk Nowitzki, doesn't it? Juwan Howard and Tracy McGrady took turns guarding him last season, but Howard isn't here anymore. We know Scola will probably have a shot at him, but who among the starters will be guarding Nowitzki? Hayes might be too short. If Yao ends up guarding him... well, if you thought Yao vs. Boozer was ugly before...

Playin againt mavs is always heart-beat game. It ll be very close and highscoring game. Tmac ll need to shoot alot better than last game. Rockets win by 1-5pts.

    Rockets - 105
    Dallas -103

Hopefully it is going to be injury free night.

The is one of the most important game to watch and determine if Rockets is really a legit team to win the championship. For onething , all sports media taught last year was the year for the Mavs and same thing this year. But if we can beat the Mavs tonight , then we have are sending message that we are the most improve and contender to win them all.

    GO ROCKETS!

Oh man what a tough game, what a great game for fans

Mavs shooted over 65% last game so that should tell us soemthin'. I don't think there are keys to the game, everythin' should be great when you play against the Mavs.

We will need our superstars to step up, we will need our bench to play great basketball when the stars will be on the bench, we will need a great defense to beat mavs, we will need a good shootin' night.

I think we are able to beat them, especially after all these changes.

I predict big games from our stars :

    McGrady - 35 pts / 5 ast / 7 reb
    Yao - 28 pts / 4 ast / 13 reb

We need to be agressive, we need to attack the basket, get as many easy points from the line as it's possible.

    That's all, just win it.

    GO ROCKETS

I'm sorry but I'm more concerned about the Spurs than the Mavs. Terry and Harris doens't pose as much of a problem as Parker.

Prediction: Houston > Mavs by 8+ points. GO ROCKETS!
