"Who do you think was the most influential person in history?"

    Answers from the Rockets...

    3 said Michael Jordan...

5 said Martin Luther King Jr...

1 God and 1 Jesus Christ...

    2 "My parents"...

    And Cuttino Mobley said "Myself"...

Kudos to the Rockets.com people for making our players sound like morons that don't understand what "most influential person in history" means...unless of course Cat thinks he's more influential than Jesus Christ, Martin Luther King Jr., Michael Jordan, and Kelvin Cato's dad...

PS: I already know Smeg's, TheCat's, and Crispee's reply to the question in the subject title...;)

Cuttino's ego is strong enough so I don't feel the need to "defend" him. But perhaps there was a better way to phrase the question? I mention this because the responses seem to range from a personal/micro level (mom, dad, family) to a personal/macro level (Jordan) to a US history/macro level (Dr. King) to a world history/macro level (Christ).

Not sure it's very significant, but Steve was the only one to reference MLK as "Dr." King.

Great post BGM. Good for a morning smile. Cuttino said he lifted himself and his family into better conditions...that's much more than Jesus ever did  :)

I read that a while back and found it hard to believe many of the answers (i.e. Parents, Jordan and Mobley). My hope is that many of the players thought they were asked - Who has influenced you the most?

lol, apparently Cuttino didn't understand the question. Looks like he thought it read, "most influential person in his life," not history.

Same with the people who said, "Parents."

    Cato said "my dad"

Perhaps he thinks he is the son of God?

    Might explain a few things...

Whats with Kenny saying God? God isnt even a person. I like KT, but sometimes it seems like really isnt that intelligent.:D It does seem like Cuttino has a really big ego by saying that he, himself, was the most influential person in history, but he probably didnt understand the question.

The most important person in BGM's life is Oscar Torres!

Looking at the responses to that question, I really have to question the IQ of this team.

Is that why they continue to dribble into traps and cannot understand adding motion and picks to that ridiculous offense?
