Only Utah was a real test in past 3 games. The next 2 game will test Rox composure and the new bench.
I don't think they will win cos Rox is still a work in progress while Spurs and Mavs have the same core team.

Win or lose, want to see they will show us good bench and good fighting spirit

    it amazes me...

we're all such big rockets fans here but some of us don't realize there are schedules with tv listings out there just waiting for us.

Wait a minute, the Lakers who nearly overcame a 12 point deficit to beat us didn't give us a real test, but the Utah Jazz that we manhandled were the real test?

Every game is a test, and it's a long season. Yes, they are big games, but "real test" is not determined solely by the perceived strength of the opponent. You think the Mavericks weren't tested a couple of days ago when they lost to Atlanta?

I checked that BEFORE. That's why I ask: Are they on TV? Oh I should say, ESPN/FSN/TNT/ABC.

the lakers destroyed the suns on their home opener and led by 30. i'm sure winning in LA is no easy task either. and we should have won by double digits.

again, how we do in these 2 games won't tell us how we'll do later on if we lose b/c we're still learning. BUT IF WE WIN, it'll tell us a lot b/c we're still in the "infant" stages according to adelman.

Assuming we split the next two, the Rockets have a decent chance to start 7-1 before we hit the Lakers/Spurs/Suns/Mavs buzzsaw. We are going to be the early game on ESPN two consecutive Wednesdays/Fridays. That's a lot of November exposure. Good for us.

Rockets have to learn how to close out games. This turnover and bad shot selection in the last 5 minutes BS will just make our superstars play more minutes than they have to.

Dallas looked a little sluggish. If defensively we can outplay them, we take them. Spurs game, we are underdog. Real test? It's still too early.

    Really??

I think they have a good chance of beating the Mavs! Spurs may be a different story...especially since it's a back to back.

When you play against top teams, you always switch to a higher gear. Spurs is THE team to beat as their defense will show us if the new offense shows any promise or if the "defector" Scola and MJ are the solutions to the bench.

Oh, I don't know. I remember Alston pretty much owning Jason Terry for most of last season.

1-1 and it would be good. But I don't know which game of those 2 would be a win. Mavs or Spurs. Just do not know.

I know we can even both teams. We are good, but only when we're agressive. Game with Blazers sucked cause we were not agressive.

We need a big games from every player but the key will be Tracy and Yao and bench.

So excitin' but also so tough. We'll see.
