but when u do that chant, it shows u don't have trust in the coach. the coach obviously does not want steve in the rotation now. and to put him in for 1-2 mins at garbage time, that would actually insult steve more than anything.

when steve is fit to play, adelman will play him. i don't think adelman has any grudges against steve. why would he? they never worked together b4.

People are over analyzing this, it was just a fun chant we want to see the Franchise again. And I was there chanting too!

You are missing the point and it is quite simple, we wanted to see Steve... nothing more, nothing less.

The lady wasn't "hatin" on Francis. She felt like it was a detriment to the players who are out there trying to win a game still up for grabs to chant for a player how has shown no intention of doing what it takes to get his minutes and excel in them.

And, Steve's calibur? Did you not watch the preseason? He may be able to put up some decent numbers while he is out there but it doesn't make the team any better by him doing everything one-on-one.

Geez, I like Francis and appreciate the things he did while he was here before, but please tell me what he has done to earn playing time this year?

Fans want to see their point guard. It took bizarre circumstances to bring him hear for his rookie year. He was loyal, and the Rockets traded him for one of the best players in the league. Rather than seek revenge, he chooses to come back to Houston. Now he is benched behind a guy who can't hit a layup. I've seen enough Rafer Alston over the last few years to last me forever.

He deserves those chants. Those are the people paying Francis, Alston, and Adelman's salaries.

That chant was stupid. Just like the Bonzi, Novak, and Spanoulis chants of last year. Spend the energy chanting Houston Rockets, defense, or for a player who is actually on the floor.

Me and my friend single handedly started those chants (the one with 6 minutes and 4 minutes or so left in the 4th) haha

So that was kind of neat..

And I know some on here found it disrespectful, but it was only because it was his first homecoming in 3 years and dispite James and others doing a great job, I (and im sure everyone else) just had a moment of nostalgia there...and I'm pretty positive nobody who chanted with ment disrespect towards anyone on the court, but it would have happened to ANY player who we has at one time ment alot to us and we missed and is finally back, ya dig?

But I doubt the chants will continue throughout the season...maybe lol

SF3 will get another chance but it will up to him to get into the shape RA wants him to get. I hope SF3 realizes this and takes the time not playing to get into the shape that he should have been in to start the preseason.

No chant is better than the one for Kobe on his first game here after the CO incident.

    "No means no" was awesome.

Yeah, my point about posting about what Rick said about the pick and roll stuff in relation to this thread is that he wanted his rotation players to get work on that pick and roll defense rather than give Francis some meaningless minutes. Most veteran players would rather not get in for 2 minutes or less if they are not really needed anyway. I doubt it has anything to do with the coach "hating" francis.
