It seems that Yao's offense is back to consisting almost exclusively of turn-around fadeaways. He needs to assert himself in the middle more and bully the competition. He's too far out, he should be a little closer to the basket.

He did in the 4th quarter. Powered in a layup over 3 blazers and went to the line.

Damn there's too much b*tching here. We're 3-0. We won our first two on the road, one against a tough Utah opponent in an even tougher arena. Frankly I don't give a s**t how we win, as long as we win.

I mean c'mon, we're still only 3 games into the season and it's gonna take the team a lot longer than a week to gel...so expect some off nights like tonight. Hell an off night in the JVG era would have yielded about 70-80 pts...the team took way too many outside shots and started to play sloppy in the second half but still managed to score 89.

I'm sure we could get more production out of francis as compared to head... we needed his offense

This game is too easy. The Rockets need to play better tougher opponents.

He was taking a lot of jumpers and he wasn't doing a great job of finishing when he did take it to the rim.

    very very good point.
but I wouldnt say they are copying Utah --- Aldridge showed his range in his first game vs Spurs.

we should definitely look at how we played... we collapsed and we will probably lose to the mavs and spurs at this rate.

    3-0 baby!

If we can play the way we did against the Jazz, then it should be a close game against the Mavs and Spurs. I don't like how we played tonight, but a win is a win and for the moment we all should be happy.

Umm yeah, I'm fully aware...it's just freakin stupid. You get the same crap in the Astros threads (Texans, well that's very warranted).

Should be happy w/ a 3-0 start...especially for a team w/ so many changes in the offseason.
