wow? a prime shaq can't dominate. u do know he destroyed david robinson in the playoffs right. u do know he put up 27ppg v. hakeem in the finals in just his 2nd yr in the L right. shaq would dominate ANY era. he plays power basketball. PURE POWER. that version fits any era brother.

if he gets single coverage like yao does, dude prollie puts up 40ppg, 15rpg.

Interesting, both YOF and TOF would like this trade, but a real Rockets fan won't.

Very interesting trade idea. Personally i think this trade is a WIN WIN situation for both Rockets and Lakers franchise.

Lakers traded a disgruntled superstar and get a superstar in return. 10 times better than the stupid Kobe for Gordon/Thomas/Noah/Noicioni trade. With Yao, Lakers will still be competitive and playoff contender but not a title contender. But the franchise will gain more revenues!

Rockets get a proven whiner, sorry, proven winner and instantly become a title contender. Les will lose some $$$$$ but he sure smell championship nearly than with Yao.

Bottom line, i dont think Rockets will ever do this trade!

But if you read the Suns board, the Suns fans are so supportive. I have yet to see one guy who called out Amare. And they lost the game. If Yao put up that kind of number...7 points/1 rebound, even if we won, he would be bashed in the next 3 days left and right by the faked Rockets fans and haters like rofflesaurus. The life of this rofflesaurus moron revolves around looking for reasons to bash Yao. And anyone with half a brain won't even believe this fool is a real Rockets fan. Why? Just read the first 50 posts of this fool on this board. He didn't even bother to pretend to be a Rockets fan at that time. What a joke this fool is.

cuz they know he's not that great. though yao is not as dominant as we want him to be, he's a top 5 big man in the game right now. we have high standards for him.

You obviously has never read the Suns boards. I call the realgm on 'The church of Amare Stoudemire" and the posters there are all his worshipers.

I remember I read a "Amare vs Hakeem" thread on a Suns board. I forgot which board. But, more than 50% of the fools would pick Amare over Hakeem. And you are saying they know he's not that good???

yea. if they think he's better than hakeem and don't criticize that performance, esp. that pathetic 1 rebound, then yes.

they're prollie saying he's good so they actually think they have a 1-2 punch w/ nash and amare. they just want to think they have a superstar when they don't that's all. i mean, magic fans think howard is a stud. c'mon now.

Trade the top Center in the league for the best Guard in the league?

    Not a chance.

Yao is just the latest in the great line up of Houston Centers.

Big E, Moses, Sampson, Hakeem, and Yao.

This is Yao's year to dominate and I wouldn't trade him for anyone right now. He's about to peak and the NBA should be worried. Very Worried.

The Suns fans were r****ded to pick Amare over Hakeem. But I don't blame them not to criticize Amare's performance tonight. True fans will always give a pass to their players for a bad game once in a while. But some of the fools on this board are not true fans. These faked fans are haters whose only purpose being here is to to hate on our player. I can tell you these fools like rofflesaurus actually hope for the Rockets to lose and Yao to have a terrible game so he can host the bash party. Just like a rat that can't resist the cheese, this fool will never be able to resist the temptation to bash Yao after a poor game like the one last night.

on top of that, doesnt the apparel profits go under the heading of BRI (basketball related income)

if so, then all these supposed Chinese sales dont go directly into Les' pockets iirc.

Im a little rusty on what the procedure is to deal with BRI when related to teams' bottom lines....coudl one of the cap gurus give a quick overview?

oh, and btw...to the poster that claims that without Chinese money the Rockets wouldnt exist.....they seemed to be existing and profitable long before Yao came around.

yes some posters on here who say yao sucks and stuff are haters.

but criticism is welcomed. i mean, if yao got one rebound, i'll be pissed. that means he didn't do his job.

i was critical of yao v. utah simply for him not getting good position once again and thus always resort to tougher shots.

i was critical of tracy early on v. the lakers when he kept settling for Js when he missed 3 in a row when he should have tried to attack.

but yes, some ppl on here always says someone "sucks" if they struggle. the only thing that truly sucks is rafer's shooting.

    for what?
ridicious of any team to combine two players like T-mac and Kobe together.
It is impossible for us to trade Yao before 2015.

It's not just bashing Yao. Tmac gets bashed after bad games too. People don't realize that both Yao and Tmac are part of Houston. YOU don't have to choose one or the other. They're teammates and YOU can like them both. What is wrong with you people? -_- Houston fans need to understand how lucky they are to have a talented roster and shouldn't forget the bad times less than a decade ago.
