If they don't have the following like Clutch, Seattle never had a chance keeping Durant's team.

Wow, from Seattle to Oklahoma City. That's gotta sting a little.

They are from OKC.The new ownership had no intention of staying there.
It's a sad day,the Seattle Supersonics won the NBA Championships in 1979 and had some great years in the 90's. Seattle deserves to keep the team.

That'll be the Kings. Maloofs will get it to happen the same day David Stern steps down.

Yeah! More Rockets games in the CST instead of the PST!

And good for OK. Possible new team name: The Ok-sonics

That sucks so bad, I've been to Seattle this summer, such a wonderful city with true basketball fans :(

They are really going to be angry at that guy, cause Seattle is well known for their sports teams and the sonics going away sounds unlikely, damm :( :(

    I hope it won't happen !

    No more Seattle Supersonics. :(

I used to think that they were first class organizations, not only committed to winning, but also to it's great fans, which were almost second to none, maybe Utah. But, I was wrong at end of the day it's all about business.

Oklahoma took complete advantage of the New Orleans situation to show they are ready for a team. Oklahoma needs more pro-sports teams. My parents live in OKC now, and they said the whole time the Hornets were there, the city was buzzing. OKC will be like Sacramento. Medium sized city that really supports the team.

Seattle is a pretty place, no doubt about it, but the people are pretty cold/uncaring.

    Good job OKC!!

    is the Ford Center new?
I don't think it is, if they want a new arena why didn't they move to Kansas City..
I believe they built the Sprint Center.

This is good for us Oklahomans, we deserve an NBA franchise (we're a better basketball city than most think)
