How many 50 point games will T-mac have this year?

gonna be rare. tonite tmac was on fiyah and still didn't get 50. So its not gonna be often since yao won't have too many games like this where tmac will have to do all the scoring.

 

Tmac's goal is to win a championship in Houston.... Regardless of being scoring champ i doubt him scoring more than 50 in a game is on his mind....

 

i'll say 5 50pt games and 6 triple doubles
if he can do that we're talking bout mvp candidacy

 

I dont care how many 50 he will score because get 47pts on over 60% FG >> than 50 pt games

The old tmac is back and those criticism& rumor around him should stop.

 

I think T-Mac will get a few 50+ games this season, but honestly, i dont mind seeing what we saw today the way the whole team played. This stlyle of play will help everyone get on the scoreboard.

 

I voted 1. He doesn't have nights like this often and he couldn't hit 50 tonight even.

With all of our offensive weapons, I really don't expect there to be many nights were he even takes enough shots to realistically be able to score 50 points.

very true. tmac would've gotten 50 if he wanted to and is being selfish. Notice that tmac wasn't being aggressive at the end of the game to score but instead hes using efficient passing to burn out the clock.

 

I'd rather he has consistent performance throughout the season instead of bad nights > good nights, even thought in good nights he get > 50pt. New coach's style suits him, and he should be able to do that.

 

exactly, he could have jacked up a lot of shots tonight b/c he was hot. but we went to yao. he passed when he was doubled. he didn't "force" his 47 pts much.

i won't care for 50. a consistent 30 pts per game + yao's 25 pts => good enough

None. I thought the whole reason Morey overhauled this team is so Tmac wouldn't have to score so much. He even talked about all the "sacrifices" before the season started.

Plus if Francis is gonna earn his way up to the rotation.. Tmac's numbers are definitely gonna go down.

It is not about being selfish or not ....Tmac's been released from the offense organizer obligation , I am expecting him to be the MVP this year ....and Yao's the runner-up

 

i think maybe 2, or 3 at most, when he has touch like today, but still , with

yao out here, and new system require share the ball for open men , it is hard

for him to get 50

 

maybe once, max 2. i don't see it.

yao is not going to play utah every game or struggle every game. this is 1 out of maybe 7-8 REALLY bad games for him. tmac had to shoot htis much.

usually tmac will just shoot around 20-21 shots.

also he wont be this hot all game.

but he wouldn't have to. yao'll get better. bonzi/james/scola all will get better.

tmac just needs to take over the 4th like he did tonight
