Deron vs. whatever washed up pg you start. Deron is miles better than anything you have at pg. Deron is top 5 arguably top 2 pg in the league (with Nash)

TMac vs. AK T Mac is great, you guys win that battle. But AK is a very, very good defensive player. IF AK plays like he did last night, say hello to DPOY and MIP.

Brewer vs. Battier Wash. Same player, only difference is that one hits threes, the other dunks. If the NBA cracks down on flops, like they say they will, Battier is rendered ineffective.

Boozer destroys Scola or whatever his name is. Boozer is the man, and made Yao look silly last year in the Playoffs.

Memo is slightly under Yao.

Utah's bench (Millsap, Harpring, Giricek, etc) is much better than Houston's. Houston is the most overrated team in the West. They are good, but not great. You aren't great until you beat somebody. You guys lost to a lower seed last year, and your leaders have never done anything except disappoint. Good luck to you."

"If the Rockets are the team this year how come in the season opener they only managed to beat the Lakers with a last second Hail Mary shot? The Lakers don't have a legit NBA center or PF and were playing without Odem. Houston made Fisher look like a top 5 NBA point guard in that game. If Kobe and a bunch of scrubs can almost beat Yao, McGrady, Battier, Scola, Wells, Alston, and whoever else the Rockets think makes them a "deep" team then they still need a lot of work. Their problem last year was they needed a point guard and they still have the same problem. The Lakers 12 point run to tie it in the last minute was fueled by Houston not having a point guard.

If Houston is all that, they certainly should have looked better than they did Tuesday night. Opening night against scrubs with one allstar = advantage Jazz."

I'm a huge Yao fan, but even I have to admit, he played a very very mediocre game. Sure he had 5 blocks, but 6 TO more than offset that. His shots were off because he was not aggressive at all. Boozer killed him on the other side. Yao was afraid of Boozer tonight.

what can i say.... i really thought utah would take this one, but damn was i wrong. tmac with 47! damn!!!

i dont think we've even scratched the surface... wait til everyone really gets in the flow and scola gets more comfortable.

plenty of rockets fans in jazzhole land....especially the uh student.
wells, scola, james looked great

oh one more thing i saw the franchise cheerin on on a couple of plays....guess his comin around. i hope.
