Just watch. Especially if Jordan plays

I'm confident the Rox will get spanked. Just prepare yourself mentally. Our team right now stinks. Our starting point guard, small forward and center are scrubs and not starting quality. Our power forward isn't even a power forward. And Cat is a pale imitation of his usual self. They got Laett, Rip and Jordan. That's enough to put us away. I call blow out for the Wiz

Call me pessimistic, I'm just realistic, we stink, it's true

With any focus and effort we should beat the Wizards tonite. I cstill think we should have beaten the Bulls with our bench. The Grizzlies - well - Jason Williams was hot, but with no defense he had his way. We should win with effort and focus. No one should blame Rudy if the players don't try.

living in d.c. i see the struggles of the wizard. Despite an obvious lack of producers in the front court, this team has less chemistry than the Blazers! Rockets blow this team out of the water and Mobley starts making a run at the allstar team starting this game!

Yeah, a Rocket fan thinking we'll lose after we got absolutely raped by the Bulls, and that makes him a bandwagoner?

It makes him a realist...this team is the worst in the league right now.

I think the Rockets matchup really well with the wizards. Neither team has a particularly strong frontcourt or point guard right now.

The questions in my mind are whether Jordan plays significant minutes, whether Richard Hamilton gets hot, and whether Laettner shows up to play. If the answers to all three are yes, the Wizards are a tough team to beat. Two of three, and Rockets ought probably to win.

Outside of designing offensive and defensive strategies, Rudy's most important job is keeping these guys inspired. It is so easy for these guys to sit back and have the attitude of "I'm making millions, so why should I try hard???".

Lack of inspirational play is partly Rudy's fault and partly the players fault. The coach should know how to tap the player's nerve and in turn, the player should know when to flip the switch on.
Fortunately and unfortunately, Rudy's style is extremely lax. It's difficult for him to get into his player's faces and pump them up, but, on the flipside, since he is so laid back, players enjoy his coaching style.

Screw that, just because we lost to the Bulls I'm not going to predict a blow out loss every night. And the worse team in the NBA is in Miami. I'm calling a Rockets win. If they lose what are you going to do. All I know is that I'm not going to be "confident" that we're going to get blown out by the Wizards. Besides saying that the Rockets are going to get blown out by the Wizards doesn't make him a realist, just somebody with an opinion because losing to the Wizards isn't set in stone.

Yeah, I'm a bandwagoner because I think this team sucks right now. I guess a 28 point loss to what was the worst team in the league will do that to you.

But you're right, I'm never watching the Rockets again until they win, I'm never posting or visiting a Rockets board until they win, and I'll find another team to root for until the Rockets start winning again.

    ****ing moron.

I hope you're not talking about me. It's kind of hard to be positive about a team when they get slaughtered by one of the worst teams EVER!!!

I still want them to win, and I'll still going to watch them tonight. I'm still trying to figure out how this makes me a bandwagoner in this dumbass' mind.

A true fan always finds something optimistic even in defeat of the worst proportions. A bandwagoner immediately starts pointing fingers and expects the worst.

This makes you a bandwagoner. Do you think Bulls fans went into the game thinking they'd beat us? Yes. Do you think Bulls "bandwagoners" went into the game thinking they'd beat us? No.

If I was a bandwagoner, I wouldn't waste my time posting about a bad team like the Rockets, if I was a bandwagoner, I wouldn't let this stupid team get me all depressed when I think about them, I care about this team, if they're good, I'll give them props and cheer, if they suck, I'll tell it like it is. If I was a bandwagoner, I would be posting at the Lakers board, actually any board other than this one.

Our team stinks. I want to be positive, but there is no positive to found when you got blown out by 30 by possibly the worst team in the history of the NBA. The Bulls game was the final straw for me, before that I wanted to believe the team was just in slump, but the Bulls game confirmed it, WE STINK Bulls are a team others beat by 30. Yet they beat us by 30, that is a disgrace

Look at it this way: the Bulls lost to the T-Wolves by 50, we lost to the Bulls by 30, are you saying we would have lost to the T-Wolves by 80 on the same night if we had been playing them? Any NBA team has the potential to win on any given night, yes, even us. As far back as I can remember, no team has ever gone through a season 0-82. If Francis was out the rest of the year, do you think we'd go 0-63? Is any team we beat (including perhaps an 'elite' team) worse than us (and by your standards, worse than the Bulls)? If we were to beat an 'elite' team, does that mean the Bulls could have beaten them by 30? The answer to all of these questions should obviously be 'no.'
