OK, today's payday, I just paid off a huge credit card bill (almost done!!) and I want to treat myself to some new CDs. Give me some recommendations!

I'm leaning towards the new Lyle Lovett and Ben Harper, honestly. I've just really started listening to Common's latest and it's so good it has me in the mood for some really good hip-hop.

I hear Britney's new CD is getting really good reviews. :)

You probably wouldn't want to listen to anything I have interest in. However, when it comes to new releases, I am going to get Neil Young's new one, "Chrome Dreams II". Also, wouldn't mind picking up the new ones by The Cult and Springsteen but they are not as essential as Neil's newest.

I totally burned the new Britney CD last night, got it off of bittorrent. Of course it was for my girl, not me. But ummm it is kinda catchy.

Really enjoy the new Ryan Adams and New Pornographers CDs.

Also, about 2/3 of the Lennon Tribute album for Darfur is good.

Let me know how the Lyle Lovett is if you get it. I'm pretty curious about it.

I like the new Ben Harper, but my opinion is kind of biased. It's more similar to the ballad disc of Both Sides of the Gun but does have some more upbeat songs on it. My biggest complaint about it is that it's only 40 minutes long, which is kind of short for an album.

Definitely the new radiohead for me as well. I believe that Sigur Ros is releasing a half live, half studio album sometime in late November. Also Coldplay's newest one comes out sometime next year and is being produced by Brian Eno (!)
