i used to have a bald head (no guard all around) in college. it was great bc it was low maintenece. i want to do it now but 1) have weddings to attend and 2) applying to med school next summer. i wanna look very conservative and and professional for interviews (if i get any )
Here is the funny thing: I don't think barber #1 does appointments, at least on Saturdays, which is the only time I can get a haircut. But a couple of months ago, barber #2, who NEVER has a line, starting giving out his card to everyone. He told me to call ahead of time so I wouldn't have to wait. It was hard not to laugh at him. The first couple of times when I didn't call beforehand (like always), he said I was fortunate to come at just the right time. He truly has no clue. This place has 4 barbers and often there are zero customers when I walk in.
i get my cuts from a guy named "Danny" at the $2.99 vietnamese place off Richmond and Hilcroft. He does a good job but youll be waiting for a looooooonnnnnng time. theres a $5 place off synott (in alief) that i used to get haircuts at. "mike" was the best there and "linda" wasnt bad either. i dont know if there still around though...
Hell yeah...If there isn't a group of crusty old black guys playing dominoes in the corner of the barber shop, then move on. As for me, it will be two years this January that I haven't paid for a hair cut. #4 all around #2 in the back bada bing, bada boom...
No offense, but I HATE that! It's just a freaking hair cut. I've worked as the receptionist at a salon before and homecoming/prom time is the worst. The little princesses with perfectly beautiful updos start crying and going crazy. And when you try to tell them it's pretty they shriek at you like you just drowned a puppy. Hair grows, and high school becomes long forgotten. People should realize this the next time they step into a salon.
Well, I don't know about that. I would say so for an old-school Third Ward beer joint with a live blues band, though!
haha! Actually, that's what it looked like when my wife shaved my head for me once. The #2 guard is really just to trim up the neck hair that the #4 guard can't get
if you have a well shaped head, just invest in those hair clippers, choose size one and start mowing you wont have nice tapered sides, but its quick n fast
Amen. They see my hairstyle when I walk in, but at the end they're confused on what to do w/ it and I look like this (including the puzzled face): Obligatory Seinfeld reference!
I been cutting my own hair for the last 3 years. Basically keep it short, 2 on the side and 3 on the top. But I works for a fortune 500 company now, so I need to start look professional. Anyone know a good place in Dallas area?
My wife cuts mine. Not having to pay for a haircut rocks so much! A long time ago, I used to shave my head every 2 weeks.
why dont you just tell them before you leave that you dont like it dont they ask you "is everything ok?" before you leave? tell them what to do. Now some people just arent good and in those cases i will get out while i can with all my hair, but if they are relatively competent then tell them before you leave
