    It was a good game... It was my first time seeing the team under the new coach.

    I was a little worried about Adelman and his rotation, but I understand this is the the first game and everybody is trying to figure out who belongs where.. even the coach..

    Dang, I miss my NBA League Pass..

    Our depth in bench won the game for us and, of course, we were just lucky.

    LOL. we would have lost that game with francis. I like the team chemistry so far. We are going to be scary come April.

    Rafer hit a clutch 3 pointer in the end and got Yao the ball down the stretch...It definitely was not stellar game by him but in the end, he did what he had to do...

    T-Mac and Yao played too many minutes. I'm pretty sure Yao didn't come out the entire 1st quarter. I hope Adelman plans on changing that. Maybe he plans on playing them less as the season goes and and the other players learn the offense more? Also, surprised Scola got so little time.

    On the plus side, our two big stars looked really good. whenever they combine for 50+ points on 50% shooting or around there, we're going to be a tough team to beat. James and Wells looked good coming off the bench. Other than that, Battier, Alston, and Hayes all looked lost at times. Hopefully it's just first game jitters. We better bring a better all around game to Utah, or they'll eat us alive.

    All I got to say is Kobe is the most crying b!tch I've ever seen on the court. I still think he's the best player in the league, but he needs is diaper changed.

    How can you complain about EVERY call against you?

    Yao need to stay at the low post, he cannot shot midrange baskets yet.

    Tmac is great, he just need to get some points in the last 2 minutes of a game.

    Alston is a pre-season specialist.

    What a game!! WOW... For a second I had an eerie feeling when Kobe was dribbling the ball up the court down (which eventually Fisher hit the shot).. Reminded me alot of Tmac 13 in 35...

    Damn but WHAT A GAME!

    I think the bbs crashed for a while.........

    Report Card for Game 1

    Report Card for Game 1

    Shane: A; game winning shot bumps grade up, took tough job of defending Kobe all night too

    Chuck: B-; Good hustle with rebounds and keeping balls alive, seemed uncomfortable in the offense though.

    Yao: A-; Good efficient game. Looked a little lost in the High Post and got stripped quite a bit again.

    TMac: A-; Slow start, but good all-around game, 0fer from the 3 point line. Should have spent more time guarding Kobe

    Rafer: C-; Bad shooting, poor defense, 4 TOs, 8 assists and 7 rebounds is the only reason he passes

    James: B+; big spark off the bench, need to work on the free throws and still took quite a few shots he should have passed up...

    Bonzi: B+; great to see him contributing. He was laughing a lot and looked like he was having fun. Good things will come from him this season.

    Deke: B; good to see him getting some early game time. He is a fouling machine though...

    Luther: Incomplete;
    Scola: Incomplete;
    Francis: F in conduct. He needs to act like he is a part of this team;
