What is exactly the challenge here? Why is it so hard to eat a tablespoon full of cinnamon? Anyway, here are a few videos of the challenge being attempted:

Damn, that chick in the dress was hilarious.

Considering that you're eating ground up tree bark, yeah, I'd wager that straight cinnamon probably doesn't go down too well.

Personally, I like the six saltine crackers challenge better...

This may not be completely healthy.

The name cinnamon is correctly used to refer to Ceylon Cinnamon, also known as "true cinnamon" (from the botanical name C. verum). However, the related species Cassia (Cinnamomum aromaticum) and Cinnamomum burmannii are sometimes sold labeled as cinnamon, sometimes distinguished from true cinnamon as "Indonesian cinnamon" or, at least for Cassia, "b*stard cinnamon".

    ...

All of the powdered cinnamon sold in supermarkets in the United States is actually Cassia. European health agencies have recently warned against consuming high amounts of cassia, due to a toxic component called coumarin. This is contained in much lower dosages in Ceylon cinnamon and in Cinnamomum burmannii. Coumarin is known to cause liver and kidney damage in high concentrations

    Try this:

Take about a spoonful of regular yellow mustard.

Heat it up in a microwave oven for a few seconds.

    Eat it.

It isn't the flavor. Cinnamon powder dries on contact. It's very hard to eat without water. You can almost choke on it.

I heard that it's because ground cinnamon is so fine it gets into your nasal passage and makes you cough.
