The Juwan curse worked well in Dallas, Denver, Magic, Houston, Twolves so far........ Now we have a chance to see what kind of damage Juwan can do to the best regular season team.

No he wasn't. he was only there for a year or so and Dirk/Nash/Finley were also there.

Dirk was the young guy. Nash was the setup guy, not a super-duper MVP as of now. Finley was good, but Howard was expected to be the leader of that team for his fat salary. Of course, Dallas shipped his azz to Denver for nick-the-quick and LeFranz.

That's funny because since Juwan was out we had to put Mac and Bowen on Dirk and thats how we shut him down.

I firmly believe Juwan being out was the only reason we did not get swept.

I like that Dallas has two J. Howards on the team now. Will their jerseys say Jo. Howard and Ju. Howard? And who will get to wear #5? It is a mystery.

Not really. The Rockets traded him. Did you expect him to be as loyal to them as they were to him? :D

Before he gets a chance he will have to face Dirk and Bass. Seriously, this is a great pickup for the Mavs. Think about it, last year they had nobody to back up Dirk. Now they have Bass and Howard. Howard is a true professionalism and a great leader. Very hard to find these days. Let me remind you that you are the same fans who said had Juwan played in the playoffs in '04 you would've definitely have beaten the Mavs. Let me also remind you that he played 28 minutes a game last year when he wasn't supposed to even play a game. That's right, he stepped up his game once called upon. Only if there are any injuries will he play significant minutes. His numbers are decent and can only help the Mavs. They had to release Mbenga to make room for Howard. That's a no-brainer right there. This is now a deeper team than last year. 1-12 spots are set and essentially every player has a proven game. Now they just have to wait to get Dampier back.

Juwan in Dallas is like the Francis in Houston or Tmac of Greece.

Get off Juwon's back. He played hard for us the last couple of years, actually surprising most of us when he put up better numbers than expected. We constantly complained about his contract, yet he was a consumnate professional on the court. We made the move to trade him for Mike James and make way for Scola. Nobody should be hating on him because he went to a winning team at the end of his career. If he's getting major minutes there, it can only be a good thing for us.
