Completely bailing on the team and being upset about losing are two different things.

Losing in this way is a new thing to most of the fans on the BBS. Before the last couple of years, we have made the playoffs every year for almost a decade straight, if not more than that. I dare not even mention actual losing seasons (there aren't many after '85).

Let's face it, we're spoiled. Our fate is the same as several perennial successful NBA franchises whose winning ways have come to an end recently (New York, Miami, Indiana, Utah comes to mind).

I would agree that real fans do stick with their team no matter what. It is okay to scream "boy, we suck!", "trade so and so!" or "fire Rudy!". It's better than making excuses for awful players and coaching.

So being upset with a loss is being a fairweather fan? Then we have a bunch of fairweather fans because I can't see one Rockets fan who should be happy about last night's results.

    BBMM,

Have pulled for Rox forever and always will....not about to bail now. That having been said, the lack of effort, hustle, and basketball IQ from our players and coaching staff is inexcusable.

And it's because I'm a true fan that this really hurts, and is very painful to watch. To go down with guns blazing is one thing, but right now we are not showing any heart, smarts or passion:mad:
