From Basketball News:
(sorry about that Rocketman95 - my bad)

"More from the believe-it-or-not department: The way we hear it, Anthony "Pig" Miller is going to continue starting at center, even though Olajuwon is back in the lineup after a lengthy absence. No doubt Olajuwon’s rusty, but even at his rustiest he’s the superior scorer and shot-blocker of the two. Still, coach Rudy Tomjanovich likes Miller’s defense, not to mention the fact he never takes any shots away from the perimeter guys. So Olajuwon—for now, anyway—will come off the bench as part of an impressive corps that also includes Cuttino Mobley and either Kenny Thomas or Matt Bullard."

I know I will want to slap myself when I hear the answer, but what is "BN"?

I agree that Pig should continue starting, until Dream regains his legs.

I cannot argue with the validity of Rudy's decision here. I was courtside for the Mavericks-Rockets game here in Dallas, and Hakeem looked like he just didn't care. Warming up, he played around, didn't participate in the layup drills, and when he did, he was pulling up and shooting airballs. During the game, he looked tired. He was huffing and puffing. Dream is my favorite player of all time, but PLAY WITH SOME FIRE!!!!

Boy, were some of us wrong about Rudy wanting to cling to the post-up game. He was guilty earlier in the year of the same thing I am -- wanting to pay the proper respect to Hakeem even if it hurts the team in the long-run. I can't fault him for that. In fact, I agree with it.

I think Dream doesn't start because he doesn't want to do that huddle dance that the young players do at the intro of the game(where all the players huddle and jump up & down). Seriously, folks, I have been saying this for quite some time that as much as I love Dream, he doesn't have the Desire anymore. I said it before, during, and after he got injured. If he was so dedicated, why didn't he EVER travel with the team for away games? Why does he choose to sit towards the end of the bench or the floor away from the young players during the game. He will be on of the Greatest Centers to play the game but let's face it, he's done. He's playing for the money and honoring his contract.
