A veteran who can lead. Not only by what he says, but by how he plays. The Rockets just seem lost on the court. There's no definitive leader out there to rally the troops and lay down the plan. Rudy can coach and call plays all he wants, but we need a veteran on the court who others look to for instructions when the other team counters. Which isn't hard to do since our guards pound the ball then pass with 5 seconds left. Willis plays hard, but he doesn't produce offensively and at times lacks defensively. Rice, well, no explanation needed. If we can get a veteran who can do it night in and night out on both ends of the court, and teach by EXAMPLE, we would actually look like a unit out there. I swear, I just don't see any chemistry right now with this team. It's like 5 guys out there playing 1-on-1 ball. One veteran player to get the other four guys on the court to execute Rudy's plays is all we need to get to the playoffs. Let's trade for a veteran NOW. Hell, trade KitKat Mobley and Langhi for a veteran and a PG.
I think if we can get a pure PG, we should move Steve over to the two. Franchise at the two would produce more than KitKat could ever dream of.
Mobley+Cato to Indy for J. Rose I really like the combination we use to start the 4th quarter tonight. Willis Griffin Williams Torres Brown replace Brown with Steve when he come back and that's our best unit! Willis, Cato Griffin, Thomas, Morris Williams, Rice, Langhi Torres, Mobley Francis, Brown, Norris
We need Francis and Mobley back and healthy. We need Rice and Walt to hit their shots so we can move one of them. And we need swagger - if we are confident, we can win.
