I've got 4. There is a cross on my right arm. On my left arm I have a tribal band going half way around. Then connecting that on the underneath side I have Angelic letters F,S,HG for Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Above the tribal band I have a tribal styled eagle. None really hurt for me. The only thing that brought pain was when I had the tribal band done the 2nd time. I can wear a regular t-shirt and you'll never see them.
Have them? Yes Like them? Yes Regret them? Not really ... even though there will always be some haters out there. Hurts? No First time? Great Affected my life? No ... they can all be covered up.
The only questions i can respond to since i have none. And I'm representing everyday man plain guy opinion here... probably around the same % as the general population (1 out of 3). or little higher since b-ball players have plenty and there's many b-ball fans here Obviously no on me. Me liking them on other people? No not really. I think they're mostly unnecessary But if you MUST have one, avoid getting one of anything from the entertainment industry, pop culture, product logos, any of that. Bands break up, whoever has a Journey or Foreigner tattoo now is NOT cool, no way of spinning it. Get something that can stand the test of time and relevance. I've only been involved twice in interviewing someone (company i'm at is small and not lucrative though, and both times it was for part-timer work for college freshman). I see it as a bit of a limiter (reasons too numerous to list). Also it tells something about you, and generally "free expression" and "rebellion" compared with "on-time" and "dependability" don't really match... but its not as big a drawback as it might appear. We had a guy that has full sleeve tattoos down to his wrist, and left by his own choice to make MORE money, and was our best worker. Really, chances are better of NOT having one as compared to having one for a job....but even a prude like me has a hard time saying a person just should NOT get one. So the generic vague answer is - it depends. Just choose wisely and choose your future profession wisely
It shouldnt be a problem for a job if the tattoo is not visible. What your boss/customer doesnt know wont hurt them.. Of course if you get one on the neck, face, lower arms (and you are wearing short sleeves) then you maybe screwed.
I have one on my middle upper back...it is a tribal design. amazingly, i do not remember the pain but it did HURT like hell! I don't regret it at all. Most of times, I forget I have a tattoo until someone points it out to me.
get a giraffe. theyre peaceful looking but are deadly. same w/ hippos, they account for more human lives every year than lions!
Get an bald eagle with an American flag in the background. Preferably on your biceps. You will let freedom ring out whenever you show anyone that bad boy.
No, he would be if he got an awesome tattoo though... Maybe he can get a butterfly caught in a barbed wire or get a tattoo of the lower part of a girl's back on his arm, then get a tattoo within that one.
u know its considered rape if u get a tattoo now, something to do with penetration of the skin. the tattoo artist told this kid that wen he tried to get a tat.
I've always thought about getting a tattoo, the only problem is I can't decide on where I would get it. Not arm, not back, not hip. Not shoulder. Definitely not leg. Basically I wouldn't want it to be visible. And I wouldn't want to see it myself. I guess it defeats the purpose of getting a tattoo. So, no tattoo for me.
