These events, much like the Spelling Bee, are ripe for ridicule and thus worth their place on ESPN....well, ESPN2 at least.
espn is rapidly becoming the mtv of sports. that's not a good thing, btw. at least sportscenter is awesome, except that players who aren't athletically ridiculous get no air time, no matter how good they may be (yao).
sadly, i've watched those before. Obviously during my stoner years. i remember seeing Dominos one time. But it wasnt real dominos. No one was smoking, drinking and talking noise wile slamming down their play and saying "give me TWANKY!"
Spelling Bee's I don't mind. There's some serious drama going on there.. anyone remember the kid who faked fainting and then got up and spelled the word correctly?
HA... your "REALLY" read more like a "Really?" from SNL's Weekend Update section (Well, to me, at least, it did): So... scrabble is now a SPORT. Really. So... this is another way of getting real sports fans to watch your network. Really.
