I feel so sorry for Novak, he cant do anything right. bad defensively, bad offensively. Just a damn shame.

Note* Grizzlies young core is pretty damn scary in the athletic area. I mean these guys can throw it down at any moment.

    Swift, Warrick, Gay, Lowry

I think he will take Chuck Hayes minutes by mid season.

I'm leaning towards agreein with you. I think they'll split minutes because Chuck is just so valuable defensively. If Carl can play like Chuck on defense, then maybe.

I don`t think so... Chuck is doing pretty good so far in preseason doing all the things besides creating shots. He is rebounding pretty well as always, stealing, taking charges, and now he also started to do some nice passing and blocking some more shots. He was hitting his easy shots last season already, and this season he doesn`t have to shoot anything thats not easy. I think this offense fits him pretty well, and Scole can come in for some more offense.

Carl Landry could be playing if one of the three Yao/Scola/Hayes go down. Other than that he won`t get of that bench pretty much...

I agree Chuck is a good hustle player but I would rather play 5 against 5 when we are on offense. When Chuck is on the game, the other teams prety much play 4 against 5.

    Press release!!

    Rockets are over rated.

Period. All this hype about the summer moves is just hype.

They aren't as good as you thought. I see a long season coming and no playoffs.

    Hope I am wrong.

just logged on and obviously no Tmac/Yao/Franchise/Rafer and very little of Bonzi/James.

    Presuming these guys are ok?

Im pretty happy we're only losing by 9 with these guys missing in action.

Clearly the season can't come quick enough!!

he doesn't have the big O on the court with him, so he probably isn't as good as where he went in the draft

Wow, that was painful to watch. Observations: Scola is your starter at PF. Wells is going to have a significant impact, what we expected last year. Brooks suddenly can't hit the side of a red barn with a brickbat. This kid was a deadeye shooter until the Rockets camp and pre season. Does he room with Rafer? Landry has made the team. The Grizzlies young players look much better than our young players. Novak can shoot, but little else. I think Snyder may be a goner, Reed certainly is.

I will also add that last year trade is looking worse as time goes. Rudy Gay is going to be a real good player.

This game was very boring. No one really had an outstanding game. Hopefully on Friday we'll see more of our regular players
