10 to 15 minutes. And work is about 5 minutes from school. My last job takes 30 minutes each way, it was a pain in the @ss.
it's amazing how far people are willing to drive in order to live in a certain location (or unwilling to move), and keep the same job or take a job that requires significant travel time.
Anywhere between 20 & 45 minutes. It all depends on how well the lights on Parmer Ln (N. Austin) are. Some days, it's all green. Other days, I hit each and every red (12 lights in all).
I go from the Arboretum to the Airport - straight down 183 every day. Thank the traffic gods that most of it is freeway!
Or your job changes and you know it'll only be temporary, maybe 1.5 yrs at most.. so you live with it for a short time.
1.5 hour each way...3 hours total and thats only if all the express trains are running at full speed and no one is blocking/charging at the doors the NYC subway is slooowww...
KINGWOOD SUCKS!!! HUMBLE WILDCATS RULE 4-EVER!!! PURPLE POWER!!! O.T.S.S.!!! i work out of my house so my commute is about 10 seconds. i also do alot of driving though. all over austin and san antonio. i live in austin so the s.a. commute can be anywhere from 1 hour to 1:30 each way.
