Willy T has "IT". He'll win.

At least Timmy P will have a hand in building a championship team.

And OJ never killed anyone. Just because 12 people don't agree that something happened beyond a reasonable doubt doesn't mean that it didn't happen. It just means that they aren't criminally punished for that act because there is some reasonable doubt, however small, that it took place. Public perception about an incident isn't limited to the same exacting standard.

Battered women recant their domestic abuse charges far more often than not, that doesn't mean that the guy didn't beat them. I'm sure you can think of several reasons why Lugo's wife might have changed her story, even if he did in fact beat her. Personally, I don't have enough facts to go on to know whether he did it or not, but I'm not naive enough to believe that he's innocent of any wrongdoing just because he was found "not guilty".

In baseball terms, Lugo's a much better player than Willy. But he's not worth the 8 mil or whatever he makes from the Red Sox.

Yeah, Lugo really crushed the ball this year to the tune of:

    BA .237
    OBP .294

All for the bargain basement price of $8.25 million.

Lugo is way overpriced now, but we should've never released him in the first place

To be fair, I think Lugo weighs less than 237. :D

The only reason Lugo is overpriced is that he was signed by the Red Sox, who, like the Yankees, will pay whatever for a player they want.
I pick Lugo to get the ring, even though I was furious when the Astros traded away Taveres, since he was our only fast player. AT ALL. Those brown skinned boys don't last long in Drayton's world unless their last names begin with "L" (keep Jason Lane yet release Preston Wilson and pay his contract?!?!) I wonder what the spin would have been on Lugo's incident if it had been Lane or Everett in the same situation.
Regardless, I like Lugo OK and Taveres a lot, but for some reason I think the Sox will take it again. And at least that will make the Yankees madder. - Crocketball Fan

Don't you mean unless their last name is "Cooper"? Or "Watson"? Or "Bell"? Are you speaking of Lee when say "last name begins with "L"? Perhaps Lee lasted through the entire season because he didn't suck like PW. Bennett in the front office also says hi. And the first African American GM in the history of MLB, hired by "Drayton's world", says hi as well.

When are people going to accept the mountain ranges of facts that stand in their faces and stop spewing this utter nonsense?

Race-baiters are as low as racists.

Shouldn't have stated it that way; it's an ad hominem. I mean attack a stupid action, not people. To rephrase:

Race-baiting is as low as racism.

If Boston wins the WS then that'll give them a chance at the triple crown of championships...MLB, NFL & NBA...that's too much celebrating for one city in a single season. Luckily the Rockets (or WC Champion) will have something to say about that NBA title. Early on the Bruins look good and the Revolution are in the playoffs also...I'm a bit envious of all their good professional sports franchises. Except I wouldn't trade the Rockets roster for the Celtics roster anyday of the week.

He's already won one (in fact, two).
