A little bit of everything but mainly classic rock, alternative/post-punk, bop jazz, fusion jazz, some blues, some classical, folk-rock, and progressive rock. Some of the artists I like listening to include The Byrds, The Band, Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, The Cure, Leonard Cohen, Genesis, Yes, The Who, Led Zeppelin, Cream, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Horace Silver, Howlin' Wolf, Muddy Waters, The Doors, David Bowie, Beck, The Flaming Lips, Interpol, Sigur Ros, Radiohead, The Police, Queen, Coldplay, Roxy Music, The Smiths, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Jimi Hendrix, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Wilco, Bloc Party, Brian Eno, Can, Kraftwerk, Blondie, and The Cars to name just a few. Plus classical composers like Beethoven, Handel, Bach, Tchaikovsky, Mussorgsky, Dvorak, and Mendelssohn.
I listen to a bit of everything. I'm not into heavy metal though, but eveything else I can stand. My favorite genres would be pop, country, r&b, and trip.
Gospel and jazz. Tia Fuller is awesome. Like a female, modern version of Coltrane with some extra added flavor thrown in. I've been listening to her CD for weeks.
you have great taste! i'd recommend some Toots & the Maytals, Desmond Dekker, Skatalites, Heptones, Paragons and Gaylads if you haven't already discovered these in your Ska/Rock steady journey. Bob's great, i also like Third World, Culture, Steel Pulse, Dennis Brown and i've got to get my Maxi Priest and Beres Hammond lovers rock groove on regularly. old school jazz, blues, soul, Latino guitar round out my listening pleasure.
