You know to me it seems she's going a little too deep with some of this fan fiction stuff....besides I always thought of Dumbledore as kind of like a priest. His life was devoted to wizadry, and hence had no time nor want of love. That seems more fitting of his character.
Damn, should have hired Ian McKellen to play Dumbledore in the movies, then. He would have been all over that.
I'd hit it (Dumbledore that is). And Hermione. At the same time. In Mexico. In a little hut by the sea. With waffles. Wait. No. Maybe... Don't judge me till I've done something illegal!
Well since she's the author, then it wouldn't be fan fiction. And having backstories for all the characters is basically her M.O. I'd say a lot of the success of the books comes from her careful plotting and detailed attention to background information.
Yep. That is why. As we all know, controversy creates cash. The more controversy you can create around you, the more money you will make. This is just pointless.
But see this new information seems like something she pulled out of the blue. And the reference to Grindelwad as his love interest. Never when reading Deathly Hallows did I get a sense that he loved the guy...they just seemed like best friends who shared the same ideas and beliefs on the wizarding world. And at no other times in the books was there any mention of Dumbledore's orientation, nor should there have been...he was devoted to his craft. Hell if she came out and said that he and Professor McGonagall had a fling, that would make just as little sense as this.
Some people seem to imply she made this decision after the fact (I don't blame you), but it seems like she's had this characterization all along: Time Online If she really wanted to make a controversy of it, she would've made it obvious in the books.
No he wasn't. Everyone knows the gay transformers were Perceptor Wheelie Sunstreaker (well he was at least metro) Shockwave...sadly he had no one to be gay with. Luckily he had a gun for an arm.
