Didn't see it posted, if it is, lock it up.... Link to Article Fugitive Ex-NBA Player Arrested In Splendora POSTED: 10:13 am CDT October 19, 2007 SPLENDORA, Texas -- A fugitive former NBA player was arrested after he took a bus out of Houston on Thursday, officials told KPRC Local 2. U.S. Marshals said Arian Keon Clark was scheduled for jury trial on Aug. 14 in Vermillion County, Ill., on charges of possession of Cannabis, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of a firearm without identification. Clark has also recently been charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured motor vehicle and driving while under the influence. The Gulf Coast Violent Offenders and Fugitive Task Force were moving in on Clark when he was tipped off Wednesday, officials said. Investigators said found out that Clark got on a bus headed north of Houston on Thursday. They stopped the bus in Splendora and took him into custody. Clark was the 13th pick in 1999 NBA draft, selected by the Orlando Magic. He was later traded to the Denver Nuggets and had stints with the Toronto Raptors, Utah Jazz and Phoenix Suns.
There was a season where he was a highly touted FA. Well... 2nd-3rd tier. But definitely coveted by lots of teams. Apparently he turned off his cell phone and avoided all contact with his agent. Always thought it was strange. Reminded me a little of the Dele situation.
One actually has to have talent in order to waste it. He could jump and score within five feet, but he really didn't have any skills. No jumper, no post moves... He was suprisingly durable for being a toothpick. Four of his six seasons, he played 80 games...

I remembered how good and aggressive he was around the rim. He was like a pre-Amare version of Amare. He can't create shots worth a damn, but he works will within the system.
Yeah, it takes a lot of talent to dunk. There were exactly two highlights in that montage that even remotely resembled a post move, and they were both exactly the same, the drive through the lane against the Knicks and the dunk before that one. I'd label Keon Clark as a waste of athleticism more than a waste of talent.
I never suggested that he wasn't anything else. I posted that to prove your point. Dude was a great athlete who amounted to nothing else. As is the story of tons of other players.
I remember when the board was full of "let's get keon clark he's the perfect complement to yao ming" posts...
Well, at least we finally know what happened to Keon Clark. Kind of funny that he was caught in Houston. Maybe he was secretly meeting his former coach in hopes for a spot on the roster?
Anytime I hear this guy's name I think back to that Toronto/Detroit series years back during Dream's forgettable time in Toronto. There was that one playoff game during the first half where Dream was absolutely on fire then for whatever reason he got benched the entire second half in favor of this guy.
