Up until this week I had been fortunate enough to have never had a cracked windshield. I was driving to a job in Kansas when a rock flew up and put a little crack on my windshield. I was at this job for 2 weeks and I figured I'd just wait until I got home because the place I wash my car offers free ones. Well, on the drive back home, the little crack spread about 6 inches across the windshield. Am I SOL on the repair? And if so, anybody know what a new windshield costs? I have a Ford Explorer.
