yeah hes really popular there. He'd probably be the #1 jersey seller instead of AI if he stayed on the Rox.

and cuz Rbk was much cheaper than Nike and adidas...

 

I want them to bring back the '97 (or so) Penny Hardaways that looked like big blue elf shoes.

 

A good marketing scheme would be:

Steve Francis puts up all kinds of crazy highlight reel dunks this season. And they make commercials like: "OMG, it has got to be the shoe!"

LOL that will help them sell some more sneakers.

 

Have you ever seen Chinese commercials on cctv? This idead would definitely not be strange enough.

 

Can they be any less comfortable than the old Stevie Francis shoes that I stupidly shelled out money before years ago???

 

They don't sell them to you so they don't care what you think. They sell them to their own people in China. What's important to them is that the Chinese there think they are good-looking. Beauty in the eyes of the beholder.

 

I thought beauty was in the eye of the BEER-holder

 

... and I am telling you guys this is probably the biggest reason Stevie sign with the Rockets even if it is for less money than other teams. He knows he can get an endorsement deal in China if he plays with Yao again.

So his Rockets salary plus the shoe deal beats any deal other teams can offer any day.
