I hesitate to post this in Hangout, but I cannot believe that there would be much disagreement that this was a serious mistake. 20-year vet and uses the n word, as in 'f****** n******' because his fellow officers got to take dinner break first. I think suspension is inadequate. http://www.kxan.com/Global/story.asp?S=7229844
Do you want MORE or LESS? I just want to clear that up. Certainly it is unacceptable... but... what happens when it's a black cop and he says this...? Does the guy from "The Advancement of Colored People" thingie come running and says it is unacceptable?
I said suspension is inadequate... meaning a much more serious response is required. And it's just plain wrong; you don't need to argue well 'what if' this and 'what if ' that.
What is wrong with the po-po these days? Seems like one of their member is always on the hot seat every other week.
you should also take into account that he's been in the service for 20 years without a dirt ( assuming ). if this is a first offense, 4 days is ok.
I always find it humorous that the biggest civil rights group in America has the word "colored" in it's name. There's also the United NEGRO College Fund. The last time I heard the word "negro" was when I watched Pulp Fiction...
no, that sounds like apd. seriously, they are the most unprofessional, rude, roided up bunch of cops you will ever encounter. i guess as long as they arent shooting unarmed black and hispanic kids in the back we should be happy.
