ESPN 2. In case you just woke up feeling the need to watch NBA basketball. They are playing in Shanghai.
No Rashard. No Gibson. The first half wasn't anything special. It would be nice if Jameer Nelson would pass the ball sometimes. With Redick, Turkey-Glue and Howard on the floor, Nelson still hogs the ball too much. If the Cavs don't get Varejao and Pavlovic back, they are toast.
why would you want to see a boring game in person? the cavs are the lakers of the east. 1 all-star player on the team and a bunch of scrubs. he got them in the finals from the weak east last year, but he has no chance of getting back to the finals with this team.
it would just be interesting to see how basketball fans are over there and the environment. what the half time show is, etc.
they have an NBA channel in China. I like to thank David Stern for bringing peace to the world. Thanks Commissioner, you are a better leader than those suckers in the MLB. You are the godfather!
i think stern is only concerned about the all-american $. china is where the $ is at for all of the taking.
Saw some of it. Devin Brown isn't a bad addition so far. BUT THE CAVS ARE SCREWED! Going from Eastern Conference champions and it's downhill. We're mostly likely worse off this year. No idea if Pavlovic or Varejao are coming back, no major upgrades. Great way to build around a superstar, Cavs organization. I can only hope Mark Price turns Hughes into...Mark Price!
i hope morey can somehow work out a trade with cleveland to trade either james or alston. i really don't care which one goes.
The only way the Cavs would take Rafer would be for us to take whiny, worthless, self-important Damon Jones in return. As much as I want Rafer gone, that would be a terrible trade for us.
hell no! i don't care if dj is from galveston, that dude thinks he is so good, but he is too damn 1 dimensional. since a 3rd team under the cap would have to be involved, i was just hoping for a 2nd round draft pick, maybe a trade exception.
The same issue applies. No (sane) team under the cap would take Damon Jones from the Cavs for free and send us a trade exception or draft pick. He got that contract because he had a career year playing next to Wade. Wade did all the ball handling and playmaking while Damon sat outside looking pretty and smiling. Oh, and he hit a good percentage of those wide open 3s that year. After the lazy bum got the money, he stopped even trying, which is why he's been a complete and total bust in Cleveland.
Game is being re-broadcast on ESPN2 tonight at 8 EST. This is just so you can DVR it because I know you guys are all going to watch Nugs-Pistons on NBATV.
