Here's my current team (1-5): QB: Garrard, Culpepper RB: SJax, Norwood, Ward, K. Keith, M. Bennett, E. Graham WR: Holt, Fitzgerald, Cal. Johnson, Stallworth, R. White TE: Miller, Crumpler K: Gostkowski Def: Eagles, Texans Trade I've been offered that I'm considering: Griese, Colston, K. Jones for Holt, SJax. Should I do it? I'm 1-5, but still have a decent shot at the playoffs since eight teams make it. I need a win this week in the worst way, though. I do like that the RB/WR I would be getting have already had their bye weeks.
I wouldn't trade Holt for Colston I'm not sure I'd trade S. Jax for K. Jones Griese wouldn't be a make or break for me but you need QB help in the worst way. I think I'd look for a better deal to get a QB
Garrard's actually been pretty damn good the last couple weeks. If I would've started him last week, I'd be 2-4. Same with Norwood.
You can't afford to wait for SJax to get healthy so I think that you should trade him for someone that you can play now. It seems unlikely that he will play this week so he may not play until after the Ram's bye week which means he may not start until week 10. You could probably do a bit better than Kevin Jones. Maybe SJax for Kevin Jones and Brian Griese is fair though Griese won't really be an upgrade. Definitely don't add Holt for Colston to the deal. Just my $0.02.
Quote from Rams coach is that Jackson has an "outside chance" to play this week. I'm hoping he can play the following week against Cleveland. But even if he does I suppose you can't expect too much.
That is one horrible, terrible, disastrous, dreadful, crappy, outrageous, despicable trade. You should be slapped with a large trout for considering it.
Yeah, I know. I just don't think Jackson's going to play anytime soon and starting Graham and Norwood or Ward as my RBs isn't going to get me another win anytime soon.
