Like me many of you Dems or those who will vote Dem against the Republicans have a candidate or perhaps two who you are supporting. The question is if at this late date you would vote for Gore over Hilary, Obama, Edwards, Richardson etc.
right now Richardson is the most qualified to be president, but if gore stepped in, it would obviously be gore
The guy who incited an irrational panic by utilizing exaggeration and scare tactics to play on the madness of crowds? Sounds exactly what you libs accused Bush of, no?
I would vote for Gore. If it is that obvious then perhaps he really should run and could win. I doubt if it would that obvious that he could win. We really are talking about last minute stuff here. Also Dick Morris hates the Clintons so much that I wouldn't put it past him to use a Newsmax article to just try to weaken Hiliary.
This is a good point. We don't need another president who uses lies to try to convince people to take a drastic action. Haven't we learned anything from Bush? Gore is Bush II - just the other side of the coin. Global Warming will become Gore's Iraq. We'll have Iraq and ridiculous efforts to cut CO2 while India and China just happily spew away.
hum.... I know thousands of people have died because of Jr's policies. Not sure about how many have died watching a movie.
i'm really not so sure. my understanding is that he is a pretty strong christian. what if he feels obligated to lead us out of this mess? that would be awesome. curious what christians on the board think about what might be gore's calling.
A Gore presidency, regardless of of any policy implications, would be the most boring 4 years in the nations history. I w o u l d g e t s o t i r e d o f c o m e d i a n s t a w k i n g r e u l s l o w.
Solid political analysis and one of the best reasons I know not to vote for someone, regardless of their experience and abilities. Dubious, you make America proud!
yeah and the bush comedy was worth all of this? If the ONLY joke about Al Gore would be him talking slow, that would actually be a good thing.
In an interview with Norwegian broadcaster NRK, he said he would not make a fresh bid for the White House. Mr Gore told NRK he wanted to focus on his climate change campaigning, which won him a Nobel Peace Prize last week. Mr Gore, the beaten Democratic candidate in the 2000 election, had repeatedly stated he had no interest in standing again for president.
