Any sources (Popeye, etc.) know of trades in the works before the trading deadline?

There is a lot of buzzing going on about trades before the trading deadline. Popeye, or anyone else who has sources, are there any trades that the Rockets are working on, such as McGrady, Taylor or Maggette?

Kukoc would be a good fit for the Rockets. He is a guy who can score and pass at the same time.

Think about it!!! Francis is an awsome scorer while being a great passer. Kukoc would be the second point guard on the team, thus Francis' average of points per game would go up.

Franics doesn't have anyone to pass the ball to him for easy baskets. Anderson does a great job, but Anderson is not a threat to score such as Kukoc.

Would a Kukoc trade be good for the Rockets.

If not Kukoc, the Rockets should go after Grant. But, why would portland give us guys that it has no use for. Go for grant in the Free Agent market!!!!!!!!!!

Trading for Kukoc would be completely insane! As a team that is beginning what is hoped to be a SHORT rebuilding process, the last thing we need to do is trade for an older player. The Bulls, another rebuilding team, would undoubtedly want draft picks and/or young players in return for Toni. If the Rockets trade for him, it could single-handedly set back the rebuilding process one or two years! No way we trade for old players when we could possibly make a trade for a younger one. Someone who is 26-28 would be fine. We don't need 32-year-olds right now.
