YEs he does, too bad its not with H-Town. but either way it's good to see him still able to run up and down the floor and grab some balls with those branches of his.

Good luck to Dream in Toronto, but he doesn't have it, but he's still contributing. He's averaging about 9 ppg and 8 rpg.

Oh. So he's only better than, say...., 26-27 of the starting centers in the league.

I suggest that we not tie up any money in him, and instead invest money into our youth movement, ala Glen Rice and Maurice Taylor. I'd hate to give Dream a contract that reflects his worth and then watch him go down w/ some sort of injury.

Sure, Dream's well worth his contract.......when healthy. Last season he did a LOT for our team when out on the floor and healthy, but that just wasn't often enough for a young team that needs consistency. Do you think he will play more than 50-60 games this season? And this is the first season of his THREE year contract. It is nice to see Dream play well, and I wish him well myself, but I will be VERY surprised if he ends up earning his 3 year contract in Toronto (or the final offer the Rockets made before he left for that matter).

svr, i'm watching the league in which Carter touches the ball 50 times a night and shoots it 22 - 25 times per night. :)

When that old horse isn't getting free points from a great pg (Kidd) or points off of the break, or by playing 35-40 mpg, then I'll think some of your comparisons are fair. You putting Nazar Mo. (.56 bpg) next to Dream's name is a joke. You calculating the mean of Camby's performance across TWO GAMES is a joke (as of this writing I hear he's out for the season... jj). Miller? Brad Miller? Who plays with??? Give me some statistical significance why don't you.

ps, Ewing has 5.3 rebounds, liar.

Dream being a Rocket was or was not in the Rockets hands... but it's absurd to think that the Rockets should have done anything other than offer him top dollar (after they came up w/ the bright idea not to pursue CWebb). I think, say.... what Glen Rice makes is probably fair.
