    It's kinda surprising they're complaining about the rules after the game. Shouldn't they have asked these questions beforehand?

    This game was planned months ahead. Surely they must of known or decided on the rules then?

    LMFAO, we might have found the real Rockets Dynasty.

    Had we erected a barn over the court the result may ahve been different.

    Before this game, they must have known the rules in NBA. But they can't adjust it immediately. Without a doubt, that is one of the important thing in such exhibition. But, that is preseason game in NBA, they must comply the rules.

    What a stupid statement...

    You are basically saying that an NBA exhibition game holds the same importance as the World Championships and Olympics.

    I'm sorry, but other leagues all play "international rules", they don't have their own rules like NBA.

    no, he was basically saying that since the US team plays by FIBA rules in the World Games/Olympics and doesn't use the rule changes as a crutch for disappointing losses, the Greek team should not have used that excuse either.

    They knew it was NBA rules and they knew what NBA rules are. Shame on their coach for not preparing them better for that. Also, if he didn't b/c it's just an exhibition game (which is understandable), then he has no right to piss and moan about it.

    im sure they knew it was NBA rules. obviously its very hard for an international team to play under NBA rules because the internional game is much more physical, and the fouls that they were getting called for wouldnt have been called fouls under international rules.

    Just funny to me ....who decide the Europe's rules?? Why didn't they make all rules universal and follow the NBA since that's where the root of basketball is.

    they did follow NBA's rules for the most part, except for the goaltending rule. The NBA has just changed their rules into making it less physical. Honestly I would prefer international rules because the game is funner. the players can be physical, play their game, and there are less game stoppages. the goaltending rule is also very fun to watch.

    Yeah, since the Chinese invented dynamite first, everybody should follow the Chinese rules about using bombs.

    They got their asses whipped by 37 points. We coulda been playing by international rules, high school rules, 5th ward pick up rules and an asswhuppin would have still gone down.

    I can see why Vasilly Spanilly feels more comfortable on a Greek team. Excuses for poor play are mandatory on a greek team.

    We could have easily run up the scores to 150-whatever if we wanted to.

    FIBA = 1932

    NBA = 1946

    ------------------------

    FIBA = 213 national federations (includding USA basketball).

    NBA = USA and Canada.
